SUPPLIES:
– Crepe Paper- Scissors

– Rolling Applicator Glue (or double sided tape)

– Neutrally wrapped package.

HOW-TO WRAP WITH A FRINGE:
– Measure and cut crepe paper to a length that will wrap around the box.

– Estimate the number of pieces of crepe paper you will need to cover the package, allowing a 1/2 inch of overlap.
Aligning the stack of crepe paper and carefully cut a fringe through all of these pieces. Do not cut too close to the edge.
– Starting on the top (broadside) of the package, estimate (or mark lightly with pencil, if you prefer) where the crepe paper will lay, starting from the bottom and moving up.
– Roll a line of glue or lay a piece of double sided tape; adhere the crepe paper around the package.

– Continue this process to the top of the package. (For perfect coverage, mark where all of the crepe paper will lay with a pencil before adhering the crepe paper to the package.)

Finishing touches note: Since this package feels a bit like a party popper, wouldn’t a party horn feel like a fun compliment?

metallic version:
– wrap present in silver wrapping paper.- Replace the crepe paper with strips of silver wrapping paper and follow the instructions below.
