THREADING EASTER EGGS
Easy Easter Egg Hanging Tips
After making these naturally dyed eggs, I wanted to make a new Swedish-style Easter Bouquet or Påskris. (Cabbage, would you believe it?) Using willow branches I already had, the kids helped me secure white feathers on the ends of the branches with wire and then, I tied the eggs on to the branches. I’ve found that using a skewer is the easiest method to thread a ribbon through hollowed eggs.
HOW-TO-THREAD-AN-EASTER-EGG
1) Hold the egg with the hole up. 2) Lay a generous length of ribbon over the hole and then, gently push the ribbon through the top hole and straight over to the bottom hole. 3) Once through, gently pull the ribbon further and secure with a soft knot. The knot size is important because it will hold the egg in place. 4) Hang on branch and arrange.
