BIRTH FLOWER COLORING PAGE MARCH
MARCH JONQUIL Cut, Color, Paste, Play — A willowday monthly Coloring series, just for you,
friends! I’m positively captivated by children’s imaginations, exploration and learning and you are, too. I
can hardly wait to get this month’s Jonquil coloring pages into your hands today!
HISTORY OF BIRTH FLOWERS
It is thought that birth month flowers originated in Roman times, when birthday celebrations first began.
Most months have 2 birth flowers. March has both the Daffodil and Jonquil. If you are familiar with the language of flowers Jonquils and Daffodils represent new beginnings, hope, joy, and good luck. Jonquil, Daffodils, and Narcissus are commonly confused for one another, but all of them center on luck. I’ve recently learned In Wales, it’s said that if you spot the first daffodil bloom of the season, you’ll have 12 months of luck.
Much like birthstones, birth flowers signify the month someone is born and are said to predict
something about their personality. If you are born
in March, your personality is known for being extremely creativite, and are kind to everyone you meet. You’re
all about living a life of peace and happiness. What’s not to like about that?
