As I flip through photos of our Summer visit, I think of the wonders of water. We’ve had so much cousin fun in and around the water this Summer. What about you? Catch of the day with Cousin Mack!
The boys returned from their Canadian fishing camp with secrets dancing in their eyes and shared only pieces of Paul Bunyon-like tales, after their week away with cousins, Fathers and Grandfather. What a fantastic grand finale — a trip within a trip — for our guys, during this year’s American Summer vacation.
Mack’s catch of the day, using the old fisherman’s trick of holding a palm-sized fish, as close to the camera lens, as possible for contrast, felt like a perfect snapshot of their time — or was this a real legendary catch? We’ll never know. “What happened in Canada, stays in Canada,” they said in a chorus.
